Odos (the way), Shirley Shor, 2003

Odos (the way) is a series of abstract grid-like prints. These works consist of  lines and structures, folds and traps. The still images were dislocated from a custom software that generates these grid in real-time (Crossing). these prints are "Snapshots" from the dynamic process. By capturing these moments, I interfere the system, and by manipulated them I reclaim my place in space.

Is it the code structured by the grid or is the grid being controlled by the code?

Anything can be anywhere in the grid. That's its magic, and that's what I want try to understand.
